Dangers of Corona or Covid Virus - 19

week 22 March 2020 I was watching television in a news program that broadcasts about the widespread transmission of the corona virus or commonly called the COVID 19 virus originating from China, precisely in the city of Wuhan.
they say that the virus , As quoted from the World Health Organization (WHO), Corona virus originates from Coronaviruses (CoV) which causes diseases ranging from the common cold to more severe ones such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-CoV). As for the Coronavirus Novel (nCoV) is a new type that has not been previously identified in humans.
Corona virus is a zoonosis, meaning that it is transmitted between animals and humans. According to investigations that have been carried out, SARS-CoV is transmitted from civet cats or better known as weasels to humans and MERS-CoV from camels to humans. However, some Corona viruses are also known to circulate in animals that have not previously infected humans.
The newscaster also gave out the characteristics of people who are infected with the Covid-19 virus , So what exactly is the Corona virus and when can someone be said to have contracted the virus? Symptoms of Corona virus infection itself is quite difficult to see at first. This is because not all people who have been infected will immediately show the early symptoms of the Corona virus. It takes 2 to 14 days for the infected person to show signs or characteristics of the Corona virus. During this grace period people who are infected may unknowingly pass it on to others. This is why it is very important to isolate yourself in the home first for about 2 weeks, especially for people who have recently traveled abroad or made close contact with patients infected with the Corona virus.
To better understand what is meant by the Corona virus and its symptoms, here are some characteristics of people who are infected with the Corona virus to a lesser extent, as quoted from the CDC:
1. Fever
2. Cough
3. Shortness of breath
Whereas patients with higher levels will experience Corona virus symptoms in the form of:
1. Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
2. Pain or pain in the chest
3. Dizzy or unable to stand and move the body
4. Lips or face appear blue

Corona virus symptoms are more significantly experienced by humans from day to day,
For more details about what is meant by the Corona virus, the following are the characteristics of the Corona virus in humans day after day as quoted by Business Insider Singapore based on data from Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University:

Day 1: Patients experience symptoms of Corona virus in the form of fever. Patients may also experience fatigue, muscle aches, and dry cough. A small percentage of these people may also have diarrhea or nausea during the previous one to two days.

Day 5: Patients experience symptoms of Corona virus in the form of difficulty breathing, especially for patients who are elderly or have a history of illness.

Day 7: Patients experience symptoms of the Corona virus in the form of a condition that gets worse, before finally the patient is rushed to the hospital.

Day 8: At this point, patients with severe cases (15 percent, according to the China CDC) will experience symptoms of Corona virus in the form of acute respiratory disorders (ARDS), a disease that occurs when fluid collects in the lungs. ARDS is often fatal.

Day 10: If the patient has worsening symptoms, this is the time in the development of the disease when they are most likely to be treated in the ICU. These patients may have more stomachaches and loss of appetite than patients with milder cases. Only a small percentage have died: The current death rate is around 2%.

Day 17: The average person who has recovered from the symptoms of the Corona virus will be allowed home from the hospital after two and a half weeks.
Those are some of the symptoms of the Corona virus in humans that you need to know.
After knowing clearly what the Corona virus means and its symptoms, you also need to know how to prevent Corona virus infection.
The reporter also explained how to prevent the corona virus,
The most important way to prevent Covid-19 infection or Corona virus is by maintaining health and hygiene. As quoted by WHO, the basic recommendation to prevent the spread of infection is to wash hands regularly with soap, cover the mouth and nose when coughing or sneeze, and cook meat and eggs until cooked. In addition, avoid direct contact with anyone who shows symptoms of the Corona virus, such as shortness of breath, coughing, and sneezing.

These are some things you need to know about what is meant by the Corona virus. Hopefully by better understanding what is meant by the Corona virus and knowing the symptoms in humans and how to prevent it, we can all avoid the danger of spreading and infection of the virus.
that's a little summary of the news that I can conclude and inform the news source https://wolipop.detik.com/?_ga=2.200089710.156829948.1584848545-299089218.1565222666.
